African Safari Kichwa Tembo Luxury Tented Camp
Kichwa Tembo Luxury Tented Camp

Uniquely different and scenically located, our exclusive tented safari lodges are generally smaller, more personalized and more luxurious than the traditional tented safari lodges. Located either within the national park and reserves or within the private game conservancies, they are typically presented in distinctive African style and offer a central lodge or tented ‘mess area' with bar, lounge and silver-service dining room. There will also often be an external campfire area with director's chairs and bar, a bush ‘spa' facility (typically offering massage and well-being treatments) and a game-viewing platform or water-hole.

The tents are usually mounted on stone bases with a thatched roof and stone-built ensuite bathroom (with hot and cold running water and flushed WC) area to the rear (generator electricity throughout). All furnishings and interior décor will be of the standard usually found in a luxury hotel room and will usually include a private furnished veranda area ; individualized ‘steward' service will normally be provided to each tent. Activities will include ‘sundowners' (within the lodge or in the surrounding scenery), guided game drives, guided walks and cultural performances and/or visits. Great East African tented safari lodges and camps can be experienced on Kenya safari, Tanzania safari or while gorilla trekking on Uganda travel.
