Visa and Health Certification
A valid passport, not expiring for at least six months, is required for entry into East Africa. A valid entry visa is also required and may be obtained in advance from the relevant Embassy or High Commission in your country of origin, or upon arrival in your country of destination. Fees for visas vary from country to country but are generally payable in US dollars.
A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required ONLY if you are arriving in East Africa from an infected area.
A number of vaccinations are recommended for visitors to East Africa (check with your doctor in advance).
