Walking safaris

A dedicated walking safari is one that is arranged to feature wilderness walks as the primary activity. A walking safari can take many forms:

It can be staged in a private reserve or conservation area. It can take place in a national park or reserve, where walks must be guided by armed rangers
It can span a number of regions, parks or reserves.
It can feature donkeys, camels, horses and mountain bikes as additional forms of travel.

Accommodation can be provided in lodges, tented camps, private ‘fly' camps or even private home stays.
